Girls 3200 Relay (Record: Atholton 9:46.25) Heat 1- Delcastle breaks out on top with Potomac in tow, North Point sitting in third. North Point goes into lead at the 500 mark. North Point extends lead into the handoff and Hammond moves into second, Leonardtown into fourth behind Marriotts Ridge. NP keeping lead, but Ltown and Marriotts Ridge go by Hammond and moving on NP. Ltwon catches NP with lap to go on second leg. Huntingtown moves into fourth at the handoff ahead of Hammond. Huntingtown and Marriotts Ridge battling for third. Ltwon extending lead on third leg. NP catching Ltown on last leg and MR coming back quickly. MR moving on Ltown with two laps to go, NP falling back. Ltown looking strong with lap to go and holds onto lead for 10:33.

Heat 2 -Carino of Parkdale out fast with Arundel and Churchill behind. Western Tech into fourth. WT moves into lead at the 500, but Parkdale fights her off. Winters Mill into third. Hebron into fourth. Parkdale and WT fighting it out into the handoff. WT grabs the lead in 2:30. Winters Mill goes by WT like they're standing still. Parkdale following close by but drops off after a 200. Chesapeake challenging for fourth. Winters Mill starting to falter and WT coming back strong. Wilde Lake moves into third at handoff. River Hill and Wilde Lake moving past WT after one lap of third leg. Almost handoff a lap early but Al Smith saves the day. Winters Mill with big lead over WL going into anchor leg. River Hill closing on WT as is Catonsville. WM wins at 10:16. WT goes by WL on last 50 for second.

Leonardtown moving into 2nd. Atholton passes 400 in 1:02. Glasgow moving quickly on pack. Atholton hands off at 2:04. Glasgow, L-town, and OM fighting for 2nd. OM falling back. Atholton is holding lead into 2nd handoff. Glasgow puts distance on L-town. Atholton with big lead on third lead. L-town goes by Glasgow into 2nd. L-town anchor leg moving quickly. Big gap on 3rd. Atholton wins at 8:43. Leonardtown 2nd at 8:57.
Heat 2 - Huntingtown, Arundel, Winters Mill, and River Hill take early lead. North Point moves into 1st. Marriotts Ridge into 3rd. Western Tech moves into 4th at hand off. RH, MR, and NP running together. Five-Way battle for 4th. Arundel moving up. River Hill holding onto lead at hand off. NP and MR still 2nd and 3rd. Wise into 5th. Arundel moving quickly into 1st. RH fighting him off. Winters Mill passed MR and now passed North Point for 3rd. River Hill still fighting off Arundel at hand off. Spangler for WM flying on first 200 goes into lead. Arundel trying to stay with him. Winters Mill wins at 8:51. Arundel and River Hill both under 9 minutes.
Heat 3 - Laurel takes it out in 27 and then drops back. Chesapeake and Glenelg in first and second at 1:01 with Parkdale third. Parkdale into the lead with Glenelg second. Calvert Hall into third and Reservoir fourth. Parkdale goes out very fast the first 200 and has big lead. Glenelg, CH and Chesapeake running together. Reservoir moving up. Chesapeake closing quickly on Parkdale and gets them at the 600. Parkdale not letting him go. Reservoir clsoing fast moves into third at handoff. Parkdale back into lead. Top four all running together. Glenelg falling back. Reservoir takes over lead and puts three meters on Calvert Hall. Reservoir with big lead going into anchor leg. Calvert Hall second. CH and Ches moving past slower runners. Reservoir still with big lead. Chesapeake into second place, fourth place pretty far back. Reservoir wins at 8:30.
Girls 1 Mile Run (Record: Katie Harman, River Hill 5:15.14)
Heat 1 - Diantonio of Marriotts Ridge leads, Nicole Dawson of Hammond at the 400 in 1:21.4. Johne of Churchill moves into second at the 600. Diantonio still leads at the 800 at 2:49.2 but is being reeled in by Johne. She passes just before the 1000. Lara of Landstown also makes the pass. Dawson and Brand of Oakland Mills join the top three. At the 1200, Lara has a two meter lead passed in 4:18.6. Brand moves into third behind Diantonio with Dawson hanging on. Diantonio takes lead on backstretch and drives to win at 5:42. Brand second at 5:44.
Heat 2 - Frenchik of Landstown goes out in 34 and has big lead on Yep of Mt. Hebron. Frenchik goes through 400 at 1:13.4 and has five second lead on Yep. Oneda of Winters Mill in third. Pack is 15 meters back. Frenchik keeps extending lead over field passing 800 at 2:30.3. Yep second in 2:40.9, Oneda one second back. Rest of pack comes through in 2:48. Carino of Parkdale into fourth. At 1200, Frenchik is at 3:49.3. Yep comes through at 4:06.5. Connellyof Georgetown Visitation sitting in fourth. Frenchik wins at 5:05.4. Yep second at 5:27.3 and Oneda at 5:30.4.
Boys 1 Mile Run (Record: Joey Thompson, Howard 4:25.95)
Heat 1 - Williams of Hammond and Belson of Atholton take early lead passing 200 in 33.2. Same two in front at 400 in 1:08.4. Belson takes over at the 600 as Race of Huntingtown moves into third. Belson passes 800 in 2:21.3. Williams at 2:27. Drexel of Chesapeake moving into second with three laps to go. Belson hits the 1200 in 3:32.4. Belson wins in 4:43.5. Drexel second at 5:02.4.
Heat 2 - Vernon of Old Mill takes quick lead with Coffey of Glenelg second. At 400 Vernon passes 1:04.3. Routt of Centennial catches Coffey at the 600. Hynson of Marriotts Ridge sitting in fourth. At 800 Vernon at 2:13.9. Second comes through at 2:20.8. Vernon's shoulder are starting to come up at the 1200 and his head going side to side. He passes 1200 at 3:25.8. Vernon wins at 4:35.8. Routt second at 4:51.9.
Heat 3 - Moseley of Parkdale and Punyua of Wilde Lake pass 200 in 30.4. Nick Rowe of Calvert Hall and Heydrick of River Hill are next two. Punyua passes 400 in 1:02.3. Rowe passing Moselely at the 600 mark and Punyua starting to relax. Heydrick and Schuler of Reservoir of fourth and fifth. At the 800 Rowe on Punyua's shoulder at 2;13.4. Schuler and Heydrick have caught up. Rowe takes lead at 900 with Moseley and Schuler following. Punyua dropping back. 1000 is 2:49.2. Still eight people with a shot at this race. Rowe leads pack at 1200 in 3:25.2. Hedyrick moving into third behind Schuler. Punyua coming back and has almost caught top three. Schuler goe in front with lap to go. Hedyrick going by Rowe as they both go by Schuler. With 60 to go, dead heat. Heydrick wins at 4:30.0 with Rowe right behind. Schuler at 4:32.2.
